The pie charts illustrate units of electricity produced by fuel in Denmark and Germany. They provide information about five main categories in both country in 1978 and 1998.
The largest section in Denmark was coal, it accounted for 53 in 1978. Moreover, after 20 years, it experienced a significant increase to 122. Meanwhile, the largest groups in Germany were coal and natural gas which were identical at 22. Nevertheless, nuclear power became the most produced electricity unit in 1998. This category increased approximately ten times in two decades.
The smallest segment in Denmark was oil in 1978, whilst hydro power was the less produced section in Germany. Thereafter, the electricity units experienced a marginal decrease in both countries.
In addition the total production compared in Denmark and Germany; the former was 90 units in 1978, the latter accounted for 80. Interestingly, after 20 years, they were equivalent.
In conclusion, the illustrations indicate type of electricity manufactured by fuel sourse in Denmark and Germany. In two decades there were a lot of differences in both countries: the total production increased gradually.
