Overall, it is clearly seen that the pie chart on the left-hand side shows educational institutions with the bigger proportion of volunteers (24%) in 2008, whereas the pie chart on the right-hand side illustrates that enviromental organisations occupied the highest rate of volunteers in 2014 (29%). Other categories included in the comparison were: art, sport, health care, and others.
In 2008, after educational institutions, the second place was the enviromental sector (21%), followed by art in the third place with 28%, sport and others in the fourth and fifth (15% both), and health care was in the last place with only 7%.
In the most recent year, 2014, all the percentages changed significatively: enviromental, sports, and health care increased by 8%, 10%, and 1%, respectively, whereas art, educational, and other decreased by 6%, 7%, and 6%, respectively.
