The pie charts illustrate the proportion of different age groups in Australia when it comes to choosing the accommodation for holidays in 2017.
In general, all of the age groups have different types of interest on picking an accomodation during the vacation. Some of them become the majority pick in a certain age groups, whilst the rest of them have fewer.
Choosing a hotel as the place to stay during holidays becomes popular by people who are aged 46 and older, but this number drops when it comes to the aged 33 to 45 years and 24 to 32 years old, with 34% and 22%, respectively. Staying at a resort also become the main pick by the older generations, with 35% of the total, and this number are similar to the second generation as well, with 30%. However, it is not so popular in younger generation, as it become the last place.
For the rest of the accomodations, which are cabin, holiday cottage, and apartment, it is widely choosen more by the people aged 24 to 32, and a slight decrease for the aged 33 to 45 years old. It is seen with apartment become the most choosen by the 39% of people aged 24 to 32. Whilst, cabin become the least option for the aged 33 to 45 years old, holdiay cottage sits in the second position from the bottom at 10% of the group. The older people, on the other hand, have a little interest on choosing these accomodation as their choice, as it sits between 4% to 8%, making it the lowest one.
