Overall, it can be seen that walking was the highest popular among people in the first year, while cars were the lowest. In addition, using a car was the most common in the second year.
On the one hand, nearly half of the employees walked to their workplaces in 1959, however, the rate decreased dramatically in 2009 to 25%. Meanwhile, the proportion of used cars was at least 10 % in 1959, it increased significantly to 35 percentage in 2009. Other transport sectors were at 5% in 1995, a percentage of other types of transports gradually rose to 12 percentage in 2009.
On the other hand, the percentage of individuals who used trains and buses remained in same percentages by 2009. Also, it’s seen that, in 2009, average distance and time had developed by 15.5km and 25 minutes individually, when compared to 1959.
