The pie charts give information on social media users categorized by five various age groups who used Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
The youngest and oldest people were less active social media users. Generally speaking, Middle aged people were superior in using all social media given in the question except for Twitter where the highest proportion of users were young adults.
As for the two youngest age groups, there were quite interesting patterns. The usage of Facebook and YouTube of teenagers made up almost 15 % each of total use which was approximately twice as less as that of young adults. Meanwhile, 40 % of people aged 18-34 preferred using Twitter while as fewer as 9% of teens find it appealing to use.
Regarding the relatively older age groups, they were more inclined to use YouTube. For this platform, middle aged, older adults and retirees showed respective figures of 29%,20%, and 10%. The percentage of people aged 35-49 used all other two platforms were almost equal. The same pattern can be observed in usage of Facebook and Twitter of 50-64 aged people, with more or less 19% each. Lastly, twice as many retirees preferred using Facebook than Twitter, with usage of former being 8 and the latter 4 percent.
