Overall, the reasons for immigrating to an EU country vary significantly, with each purpose accounting for almost equal proportions. However, the reason for leaving an EU country was primarily because of employment. In addition, the least common reason for moving to or leaving a European county was withough any specific goal.
Regarding the reasons for going to a European county, family and friends was the most common reason for immigrating to thic continent, with 25%. Closely following behind was a definite job, at 23%. This was in stark contrast to purposes of searching a job opportunity, education and other unspcified reason, all of which accounted for an identical 15%. Finally, going to Europe with no reason was the least common answer, with a minimal 4%.
The reasons from leaving Europe, on the other hand, showed a different pattern. With a whopping/staggering 38%, moving out of Europe due to a specific job leaded the pack, almost twice higher than leaving Europe for no reasons, at 23%. Relationships was the third popular reason for Europeans to depart from their homeland, at 15%, as opposed to looking for a job, at 13%. Having no reason and education were the least common reasons why Europeans left thir motherland, at 7% and 4%, respectively, which was not unlike/similar immigrants coming to Europe.
