The given pie charts provides information about the world’s forest in five regions( South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, North America)
Overall, looking at these two pie charts, Africa has a large percentage of world forest, but it did not owns large amount of timber. On the other hand, North America has largest proportion of timber and forests, respectively. However, Asian countries are not as popular with world forests as an Africa.
According to the percentage of world forest in 5 different regions, African countries witnessed a largest share at 27%, while Asian countries showed an opposite trend at only 14% of overall world forest. Similarly, South America and Europe have a similar proportion of world forest 16% and 18%, respectively.
Another different scenario can be seen with the percentage of timber in each region. It can be seen that North America in the first place among other countries in the production of timber, while Asia which was popular with the number of forests, in contrast, in Asia the percentage of production of timber is not so much.
