The bar and pie chart given compare eight different countries based on the percentage of of global consumption in 1999 and the growth of bottled water consumption respectively in 2001.
Looking ar the illustration, it is immediately evident that Usa recorded the highest figure in 1999, Whereas the opposite was true for Western Euroup and Australia. In 2001, the percentage of Asia recorded the highest figure, whereas the opposite was true for Western Euroup. Additionally, all countries surveyed showed an overall upward trend.
In 1999, the percentage of USA dominated the pie chart at 48% and occupied half of the chart, whih was roughly 33% higher than the figure of Asia. The percentage of Middle East ranked third at 13%, which was roughly 3% higher than Africa. The percentage of Latin Americal and New Zealand ranked fifth at 5%, while Western Euroup and Australia came in last at 2%.
However, the bar chart shows a different pattern in growth. Asia experienced the most significant increase in bottled water consumption in 2001, suggesting a rising trend in demand. South America ranked second in growth, followed by Europe and North America. The “Others” category once again remained the lowest, showing minimal growth during this period.
