The two pie charts presents a conclusion of “leisure” and “cultural” activities as preferred by boys and girls.
Overall, equal percentage of boys and girls participated in music, with 10% of both genders choosing the activity. Similarly, while 11% of boys preferred skateboarding, equal number of girls chose gymnastics.
Taking a closer look at the first chart, computer games emerged the most preferred activity among boys(with 34% of the boys population participating in the activity), this is followed by basketball with 26% participation rate, soccer was second to least preferred activity, only 17% of the boys took to soccer, while only 2% of boys took interest in reading.
On the other hand, taking a careful look at the second chart, it reveals that dancing was the most popular activity among the girls with 27% of girls participating in the activity. Very much unlike boys, more number of girls showed interest in reading, making it the second most preferred activity with 21%. Netball was however not left out, as 15% of girls fancied the activity, almost equal the percentage (16%) that played computer games.
