In the northeast, there was a dock, and just above it was the public beach. The main road was on the west side and connected to the car park, fishing boats, and the lifeboat station. The public beach and the old castle were in the southeast, and the passenger ferries were near the dock. The main road also connected to the car park.
Today, there have been many changes. The marina for private yachts has been replaced by an area for fishing boats. A new road has been built, branching off from the main road. New showers and toilets have been added near the car park and marina. A café and some shops have been built between the lifeboat station and the marina. The car park has also been slightly changed, and a new road now connects it to the main road.
