In 1920, the north-east side of the garden used to be a rose garden and pond for water plants which is now have been transformed into a café and a children play area, respectively. The glasshouse, situated in south-west was demolished and a new water feature has been built. Today, a newly built rose garden can be seen at the centre of the park instead of fountain.
