The maps illustrate how the village of Pebbleton has transformed over two decades.
Overall, except for the center, which has undergone significant transformation, other areas remained unaltered. Moreover, changes happened in the central part of the map is primarily for residential as well as entertaining purposes.
Looking first at the center of Pebbleton, it is noticeable that this area has undergone significant residential transformation. Not only more houses have been built at the North, but flats have also taken the place of the previous film studio at the bottom right corner of the central region. Additionally, recreational transformation has taken place in this area, with the construction of both the tennis courts in the central part and the community centre at the top of the area. The former location of Old Fort in the Northwestern part is now dedicated to the children’s playground.
Another footpath has been erected so as to provide residents with an easy access from the central area to the Southern part of Pebbleton. By contrast, other parts of the map generally remained unchanged.
