The plans illustrate how the ground floor of a particular building changed over three different periods, from 1958 to the present day. Overall, the building experienced significant changes over time, transforming from an office into an apartment and eventually into a flower shop.
From 1958 to 1984, there was an office consisting of 7 rooms. The entrance was located at the bottom of the plan. On the left-hand side, there was a meeting room in the top corner, with the assistant’s office and the secretary’s office situated below it. A toilet was located in the bottom left corner. On the right-hand side of the building, the manager’s office occupied a large space, while a kitchen was positioned in the top right corner.
During the second period, the building turned into an apartment, resulting in notable changes. The former office spaces were replaced by residential rooms, including a living room on the left side and a kitchen in the top right. Two bedrooms were created on the right side, labelled Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2. Moreover, a bathroom with a shower was constructed in the lower central area near the entrance.
From 2001 to now, the building has been converted into a flower shop, leading to further transformation of the space. A section for gift cards was added in the top left corner, while the kitchen remained untouched. An office was included on the right-hand side, and a play area was introduced in the bottom left corner. The entrance stayed in the same position.
