The presented maps delineate the changes in Porth Harbour from 2000 to the present day.
On the whole, there have been several changes, the most noticeable being swapping of marina private yacht and fishing boats, constructing a third dock and transformation of a disused castle into a hotel.
Looking at the diagram in detail, the position of marina private yachts and fishing boats have been switched. In the northern side of the harbour, a new dock has been added, increasing the docking capacity for boats. Additionally, the disused castle from 2000 has been transformed into a new hotel and a new road has been constructed to provide access to the hotel and a private beach is used for only hotel guests.
Furthermore, cafes and shops are built near the lifeboat station, and on the western side a second set of showers and toilets are constructed.
However, the location of two car parks, public beach, lifeboat station and showers and toilets on the north western side remained the same place.
