Upon initial inspection, what stands out from the pictures is the museum underwent a massive transformation and modernization process throughout the years. Notably, there are several structural changes including deforestation, expansion, and urbanization. Indeed, the modest rural museum was converted into a contemporary history centre.
Regarding the building, the old museum store was transformed into a modern cafe for new history enthusiasts. Besides this point, a museum shop was integrated into the main building and a new entrance was opened in front of this shop according to the maps. Similarly, the old local history room was reconstructed by combining it with the national history exhibition, creating a substantial space for the new reception and local history room. Finally, a novel educational space and a special exhibition room were added just behind the new local history room.
Examining the surroundings, because of the car park construction and considerable expansion of the main building, there was a decline in the number of green places. To add on, the old path that lay between the museum and the main road was demolished and incorporated into parking lots.
