At first glance, comparing the park before and after its upgrade to improve tourist experiences reveals significant changes.
Before the renovation, the park lacked tourist-friendly attractions. There was only a large fountain in the centre, a small place for musicians on the left side of the fountain, rose gardens and a glasshouse were arranged at 4 corners with rest areas located throughout the park.
But now, after some noteworthy changes, the authorities have changed almost everything in Grange Park. The stage for musicians has become an enormous amphitheatre to perform concerts, and the fountain at the centre has been replaced by a square rose garden surrounded by rest areas, making it the first place that attracts guests as they enter. The aquatic plant habitat and rose plot on the northeast corner have been removed to make space for a leisure complex including a play yard for children while their parents spend time in the coffee shop nearly. Furthermore, a water feature was added in place of the glasshouse and the seating area and an area for car parking was built underground to save space.
