The map illustrates a public park the time in 1920 when it first opened and the current condition. Overall, it is clear that the orientation today is completely different from the first time. The most appealing changes that are a bigger rose garden in the central area that replaced fountain.
To begin with, some features are reconstructed in the Eldon Street Entrance area. For instance, stage for musicians on the left of Eldon Street entrance are now a bigger amphitheatre used for concerts. Another point to mention is the glasshouse that were changed into a water feature which is located on the far right of the entrance. Moreover, there is a new entrance leading to the underground car park.
Looking from the other side at the Arnold Avenue Entrance, some changes are quite visible such as the café that used to be a rose garden. Not to mention the pond for the water plants was replaced for a children’s play area. Moreover, some seats around the area have been removed, but it is now accessible around the rose garden in central area.
