The two maps show the transformation of Grange park. Overall, the park has experienced major changes in its layout and now offers more facilities for visitors. These changes, however, came at the cost of some original features such as the stage for musicians, the fountain, and the glasshouse.
The grange park used to offer only few facilities for its visitors in 1920. There was a fountain approximately middle of the park, with a glasshouse to the south east bottom and a stage for musicians located on the other side, among two rouse garden. A pond for water plants was situated top of the north corner and rouse garden which located next to pond for a water plants.
Since then, the park has changed considerably. While one rose garden remained in the top left corner the other two were replaced by new facilities. The stage for musicians and the fountain is removed, and an amphitheater for concerts was built on the left side of the park. The central area was also changed with a rose garden replacing the fountain. In addition, a café and a children’s play area are introduced in the top right side, while the glasshouse and the pond is replaced to a water feature in the bottom right corner. Seats is also changed around the new facilities. Finally, an underground car park entrance was added outside the park on the right side.
