Overall, the park has undergone significantly modernization, with severall facilities such as foundtain, glasshouse, stage for musicians being replaced by new recreational amenities including a cafe, amphitheatre, and children’s play area. In addition, an underground carpark has been introduced with a new entrance from the east side.
On the west side, the stage for musicians has been coverted into a large amphitheatre for concerts, while the surrounding seatings area has been completely removed. At the center of the park, the original fountain has been replaced with a new rose garden. Although, the main entrances to the north and south remain unchanged, a new entrance has been constructed on the eastern to provide access to the underground car park.
Meanwhile, the rose garden and the pond of water plants located in the northwest has been removed and replaced with a cafe and children’s play area. Furthermore, a modern water feature has been added in the southern of the park.
