The given images illustrate the changes that a student living building has undergone since 2010.
Overall, it is clear that changes and rearrangements happen in some area of the houses. There are now more living space for student than in the past, which means the buildings are widened. Moreover, new facilities and services appear, provide learners with more options as well as improve living standard.
Looking first at the top side of the map, the garden in the top left was removed so that there is more space to expand the houses. As a result, a new bedroom is built and living room is demolished to form a series of bedrooms so that more students can live in the buildings. In the center part of the house, there are a bedroom and a bathroom, which remain stability over the period.
Regarding of the bottom side, to the South of the building, there used to have a large garden, which are later turned into car parking outside the house. Lying in the left bottom corner are main entrance and the hallway, which witness no changes or rearrangements. However, at the end of the hallway, next to the bedroom at the right bottom corner, there is a new-built en-suite room. The kitchen locating opposite to the bathroom may receive some new facilities to be also used as a social area.
