The given images illustrate the changes that a student living building has undergone since 2010.
Overall, it is clear that changes and rearrangements have occurred in some areas of the building. There is now more living space for students than in the past, which means the building has been widened. Moreover, new facilities and services have appeared, providing learners with more options as well as improving living standards.
Looking first at the top side of the map, the garden in the top left was removed so that there is more space to expand the building. As a result, a new bedroom was built, and the living room was demolished to form a series of bedrooms so that more students can live in the building. In the center part of the building, there are a bedroom and a bathroom, which remained stable over the period.
Regarding the bottom side, to the south of the building, there used to be a large garden, which was later turned into car parking outside the building. Lying in the left bottom corner are the main entrance and the hallway, which have witnessed no changes or rearrangements. However, at the end of the hallway, next to the bedroom at the right bottom corner, there is a newly built en-suite room. The kitchen, located opposite the bathroom, may have received some new facilities to be also used as a social area.
