The maps demonstrate the layouts of a student accommodation in 2010 and now. Overall, the building increased its capacity of students by adding more bedrooms and became more visitor-friendly through new facilities.
Focusing on the 2010’s design first, there was a bedroom right opposite the main entrance. On the top right side of the construction, one could see an another bedroom which was located next to the living room and behind the kitchen. A bathroom was situated in the middle of the building which was near the third and final bedroom. Garden could be seen in the both north and south part of the accommodation.
As far as the current plan is concerned, the major changes took place in the top. By shrinking the size of the garden, another bedroom has been added and parking area for cars has been constructed in place of garden in the bottom. One of the new facilities that have been recently set up is the en-suite room which is next to the bedroom and in front of the main entrance. Final alteration is the establishment of social area inside the kitchen.
