Given are maps illustrating development witnessed by an UK village between 2000 and now.
Overall, the village in the UK was completely transformed with new facilities for residents and more housing provided. However, there is less green space in the current development.
In 2000, the village had a main road running from southwest to northeast with several public services along such as shopping facilities in the top right-hand corner, a hotel and a restaurant to the north, a pub opposite a shoe factory to the south, and houses with a branch road in the bottom left-hand corner. Notably, there is agricultural land and a farm in the bottom right-hand corner.
Currently, while the main road remains unchanged, the hotel and restaurant were turned into empty buildings. The most remarkable change was development of the branch road and more houses built opposite a new playground constructed which occupied a small area in the south of the village. Albeit less pronounced, farmland and the small farm were replaced with new housing facilities and a road built.
