The plans demonstrate the changes of Newton theater between 2000 and in present.

Overall it is clear that Newton theater has changed significantly both the main area and services space. All amenities services are moved to the eatern part of the theater which was previously parkland.

Regarding main theater’s space, it used to be 400 seats in 2000 and inereases to 500 seatings now. The stage is englarged to 3/4 in the total area, while the space for backstage is narrowed down. In 2000 the entrance was located at the bottom right conner which could be accessed from the main road ;however, it is relocated to the new area- eastern part.

To the east of the theater, there was a park with a lot of trees, but they are completely cut down and replaced with a wide range of facilities: tickets, refreshments and coats shops, which are adjacent to the theater area , also opposite the entry gates. There is an expansion for the foyer and doubed entrances. To the right hand side of the gates, a new restaurant is added and in close proximity to the toilets.
