The two plans illustrate the layout of Newtown Theater in 2000 and at present.
Overall, it is clear that the theater has undergone significant redevelopment, with more seating capacity and additional facilities such as a restaurant. The layout has become more modern and spacious compared to the year 2000.
In 2000, the theater could accommodate 400 seats, arranged in twelve rows labeled from A to M, and was surrounded by basic facilities. The entrance was located on the south side, leading directly to the foyer, which contained areas for tickets, coats, toilets, and refreshments. Outside the building, to the east, there was a park with several trees.
At present, the theater has been expanded and modernized. The number of seats has increased to 500, and while the general layout of the stage and seating remains unchanged, the surrounding facilities have been reorganized. The toilets have been moved to the north-east corner, and a restaurant has been added next to them, replacing the former park. The foyer area now includes two separate entrances from the main road, and the arrangement of ticket and refreshment counters has been adjusted to make the space more efficient.
Overall, the theater has been transformed from a simple venue into a more functional and visitor-friendly entertainment facility.
