The map illustrates the changes that have happened over a thirty-year period in Oxton.
Overall, the city has not experienced significant change, apart from a few amenities being added and replaced. However, the most noticeable changes have been the construction of car parks and the building of a tram line across the road.
30 years ago, long trees were located in the north of the town, along the river. These trees have been shortened over time in order to set up a pathway for citizens. In addition, a car park has been opened just on the other side of the river, with road access to it. With regard to the tram line, it has been built running from south-west to north-east, followed by a public footpath which has been erected almost in the middle of the town, just beside the shops.
Looking at the south, we can see that two car parks have been established, one of them in the south-west near the railway station, and another in the south-east next to the supermarket with a new pathway. Subsequently, a minor change has happened on the west side: the swimming pool has been converted into a leisure centre, with the introduction of another footpath on the east.
