The tree given layouts illustrate how a cottage house changed from 1950 to the present moment.
Overall, the buildiung was reconstruted into language school firstly and now it is a museum. Although the floor plan stayed almost the same and some of the rooms retained their funcions, part of the areas underwent a transformation.
Regarding the similarities, the main Entrance(on the western side of the plan), the Kitchean area (to the south of the entrance), the Garden entrance and the Dinning room remained the same in both place and function with the Dinning room slightly increased in its lenght in the present day. The music room, located on the northern side of the map was replaced by a clasroom in the language school and today it functionise the same.
The most significant change occured in the language school where two Classrooms were being built on the site of the empty space, located next to the Dinning room and present Living room, which at this time used to be a Classroom. Presently, a temporary exhibition covered that space. Moreover, patio had been constructed for the first time to the south of the Kitchen, the Garden entrance and the Dinning room during the existance of the language school, but it is now removed.
