The diagram compare the structure of the ground floor of a library between 2001 and 2009.
Overall, it is clear that the found floor’s plan has undergone a number of dramatic changes. The most significant of which are the emergence of various shops and the computers.
In 2001, the history and self-help were located in the West of the plan while only newspaper & periodicals were in the East side. In addition, the ficiton area and librarian’s desk are divided into the North side and South side, respectively. In the centre of the ground is the space where have eight tables allow tourists to rest. Meanewhile, the stairs was situated in the North- East side.
In 2009, many shops were constructed in the West side such as fiction, kitchen, economics and law. While the Librarian’s desk and stairs still unchanged, the ficiton and newspaper & periodicals were converted to huge tables and films & DVDs, respectively. Moreover, the children ‘ area and computers had been built.
Four long tables had replaced the eight tables in the center of the 2001’s floor plan.
