The two maps illustrate the modernization that occurred on the ground floor of a library between 2001 and 2009.
Overall, the maps underwent a notable transformation with an increase in study facilities. In addition, the lower section of the floor remained unchanged.
Regarding the left side of the library, initially, this area was allocated to history and self-help; however, it was subsequently renovated into a variety of categories, including history, fiction, self-help, kitchen, economics, and law. On the right side of the library, the newspapers and periodicals section was replaced with a films and DVDs sector, and a computer section was also added over the period.
Turning to the central part of the library, 8 small tables have been converted into 4 social tables. On the north of this area, a large table with a children’s area was established in the last fiction location. Moreover, the librarian’s desk across from the entrance and stairs in the right down corner of the library remained unchanged over the eight years.
