The images compare two similar beechwood farm sites across different periods: in 1950 and today.
Overall, the farm site of 1950 had a huge empty space for sheep, whereas the new image shows a richer amount of buildings, solar panels, and new roads in the place of the previous empty site, additionally with new parking spots and a shop.
In comparison to the second plan, the first plan shows older versions of similar buildings as in the second plan. For example, the place called ‘barn’ had only one separate room before becoming a holiday cottage with three rooms. The roads were not fully developed, as empty spots remained on the north and south sides of the farm. The other places such as fruit trees, soft fruits, and vegetables were located close to the river, covering the farm across the east and south side, as chickens and the farmhouse were located to the riverside next to the barn.
The second image presents that the huge emptiness in the north was covered with a camping field, two parking spots in parallel areas, solar panels in the northern east area, and a tree next to the camping field. The roads have fully developed, and a farm shop has appeared on the west side next to the fruit trees and the road. Additionally, the old barn has become a holiday cottage with three rooms, as the new barn has been built on the south side next to the chickens area.
