The image depicts two maps of Porth Harbour, one from the year 2000 and the other showing its current state. In 2000, the north side of the harbour features a car park, fish market, and fishing boats. Moving eastward, there is a marina office near the parking area and a public parking area adjacent to it. A road runs alongside the harbour, leading to a lifeboat station next to Castle and a passenger terminal located at the northeast edge near the dock. In the current map, the layout has been significantly altered; the car park has been converted into a car park & flats, the fish market into a fishing boats section, the marina office and public parking area remain, and showers & toilets have been added nearby. Further changes include the replacement of the passenger terminal with a cruise ship, while the road now leads to a large hotel in place of the lifeboat station. The current map also shows the inclusion of a café & shops near what used to be the Passenger terminal. The Castle remains unchanged in its position.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The maps present Porth Harbour sketches in 2000 and current days.

As it can be seen, there are some developments in replacing and reconstructions. Places for entertainments was added and hotel for people, also enhancing territory for docks.

To begin with, in 2000 around the south road, there was no places where people could go for pleasure, whereas now the new buildings are seen as Cafes and shops. Additionally, empty castle in southeast corner was rebuilt to hotel with their private beach for residents and fishing boats experienced reconstruction as place for private yachts, Marina. Also, changes touched the main road where the car park now have own path to parking and near it there is a new showers and toilets for individuals.

On top of that, Porth Harbour’s dock had only 1 station for boats in 2000. Nowadays, it experiences more opportunities for transportaton with more for parking the boats. Near the dock, passenger ferries have no differences compare to old map.
