The depicted plans elucidates comprehensive comparison between the layout of a school library 5 years ago and its current layout. The most noticeable changes being the alteration of shared study tables into private study spaces, the removal of computers, and the addition in number of rooms available.
Comparing the two plans, four study tables which were located in the centre of the building have been turned into private study spaces. Secondly, bookshelves in the southern section has been replaced by desks for students laptop while the bookshelves in the northern sides remained unchanged. Computers are no longer available since the utility of the desks has altered for placing student laptops.
Conversely, In the western sides of the building, there were three rooms in previous half decade. However, a smaller room has been established in the corner, becoming rooms for returning books. Although the room for book borrowings still located in the same place, new help desk has been added.
Meeting room are not relocated while classroom turned into recording studio. Lastly, conference room is introduced in the former library office.
