The floor plans provide the changes regarding the design of a collage café, which will be summarized and compared in the further report.
The café has gone through significant renovation, which has altered both its interior and exterior. Before redesign the plan of a collage café was relatively simple. Right to the left of entry, there were located a bin and restrooms. In the front of the entry door there were two separate dining rooms, assigned specifically for the staff members. At the left top corner of the café there is a single kitchen, which was accountable for the preparing of all of the beverages and meals, also a special serving area inside of it.
The remaining area of the college café was set with tables and chairs.
Today, the college café has been modernized greatly and now consists of a number of separate stalls.
First, a universal bin has been replaced with recycling trash cans. Then, the two rooms in the middle of the café have been changed from crew dining areas to a take away food zone and a coffee bar. The next added bar located right in front of the kitchen room, serves salads. Accordingly, now in the kitchen only hot meals are prepared. In addition, another noticeable change can be seen from outdoors. To the left of the salad bar there is an exit to the outdoor seating. There also has been added a new barbecue stall adjacent to the exit door.
