The diagram shows the process of how edible oils and fats, and margarine is manufactured from raw materials. There are several stages divided into four main stages: collecting, producing, distributing, and selling. The process begins with the collection of raw resources and ends with commercial sales.
Looking at the first stage, the plants as raw materials are gathered before being delivered to the industrial house. Following this process, these materials are crushed and milled into small pieces. Prior to the filtering process, these small pieces are pressed by equipment that is needed to extract the oil. Once this procedure has been completed, the extraction liquid is steamed so as to get the virgin oil. The subsequent step is separating the steamed oil into three chambers, each of which contains sunflower, coconut, and refined oils.
Afterwards, those products are packaged by two kinds of packaging, liquid oil is stored in bottles, while the solid fat is packed in containers. Having been packaged, the products are delivered to supermarkets, in order to promote and sell them.
