The two maps illustrate the layout modifications of a school library over a five-year period. Overall, the library has experienced major changes in its layout and now hosts more education facilities for students.these changes, however, came at the cost of the studying tables zone and library office that were present previously.
The library used to offer only few facilities for its users in five years ago. There was a studying tables approximately in the middle of the library, with a book shelves to the north and a second book shelves located on the other side of the studying tables. A desk for computers was situated to the right of the book shelves, while library office was in the bottom right corner of the map. The returning desk and borrowing occupied the bottom left corner, in front of which was meeting room and classroom.
Since then, the library has changed considerably. While the book shelves, meeting room, borrowing and returning remained intact, and the library office wasreplaced by a conference room. There is now a new desk for students laptops, where book shelves stood. These studying tables, in turn, doubled in number and desk for computers was replaced by a desk for students laptops. Final alteration is the introduction of a new recording studio and these last developments came at the expense of the classroom.
