Overall,it is clearly evident from the diagram that, road is the most dominant mode of transportation followed by water and railways whereas, contribution of air, pipeline and cable ways in minimum.
Primarily, the roadways serves as the main backbone of mobility for goods. It service is in continuous and significant rise from about 35millions tons and reaching to about 48 watts in year 2040, apart from initial slight dip from 1990 to 1995.
