Overall,it is evident that, TV, videos, and radio are predominantly chosen by both men and women, whereas sport was spent the least amount of time on per day. In terms of household activities, cooking and washing is ranked as the highest as opposed to repair which is ranked as lowest.
The unremarkable difference was spotted between man and women on the amount of time spent on the most time-consuming leisure activity,TV,radio, and video,man spending 19 minutes more than women, 137 and 118 minutes,respectively. The same pattern was noticed in sports, where man devoted 15 minutes to this activity,compared to women who spent only 11 minutes. The figures for genders in reading we’re almost identical, 18 minutes for man and 19 minutes for women respectively.
Cooking and washing as the activity taking the largest proportion of household activities, on which man spent approximately 30 minutes,whereas women allocated almost double of it,70 minutes. The same was true for clothes washing and ironing, men taking 10 minutes, while the figure for women accounts for over 20 minutes respectively. In terms of shopping, the figures for both genders were identical making up between 20 and 40 minutes. Regarding repair, women spent half of the amount of time consumed by men, 20 and 10 minutes, respectively.
