Overall, people living in metropolitan areas had the longest delay; however, small city residents experienced the shortest delay.
According to the data provided, metropolitan passengers had the longest hours of delay over the period. In the beginning of the year, the number of hour’s delay was accounted at 19 hours. In 1995, it then increased sharply to 50 hours before reached a peak at 60 hours in 2005. Moreover, it is predicted to decrease slightly by 40 hours in 2025.
Furthermore, people living in small cities had the shortest number of time’ delay. In 1985, the figure accounted for less than 10 hours. In the next year, the total hour rose impressively to 21 hours and continued increasing to 27 hours in 2005. Moreover, it is estimated that this trend will decline by only 1 hour in 2025.
