The tabular chart represents various modes of travel and the average distance in miles traveled by an individual in Turkey from 2000 to 2015.
Looking overall, it is readily apparent that the majority of people preferred traveling by car compared to other transportation modes, and only a small portion of people used taxis for traveling.
According to the data, in 2000, people covered 265 miles by walking, and after fifteen years,it was decreased by227 miles. Moreover, 61 miles were covered by bicycle in 2000 and 51 miles in 2015. Additionally, people covered a 4198-mile distance by car,which was the highest number compared to other travel modes. It increased to 5806 miles in 2015. Only 440 miles were covered by bus, and that number declined by275 miles. People covered a 250-mile distance by train, and in2015, it rose by 366 miles. On the other hand, people covered a distance by metro of only 54 miles in 2000, and that number increased more than double in2015.
Only 13 miles were covered by taxi, and in2015 it was 42 miles. Additionally, other modes of travel in 2000 covered 450 miles, and after 15 years, that number increased to 565 miles
