Overall, the largest share of time was dedicated to admiring the historical monuments while the museum had the smallest amount of time spent in. The visitors from all the countries preferred outdoor activities for the most part of their vacation to indoor events.
Tourists from India and Canada showed quite similar preferences, with the same numbers of hours per day spent at the beach, at the National park, and watching the historical monuments – 4, 6, and 5, respectively, with the museum being the only difference – for the Indians the number was 3 hours, while the Canadians spent there only 1.
Regarding the Australians and the Germans, the most well-loved activity among them during their vacation in Italy was visiting the historical monuments, they dedicated to it 8 and 7 hours per day, respectively. The runner-up for tourists from both countries was the national park, the Australians spent there 6 hours whereas the Germans 5. The least amount of time was given to sunbathing at the beach and going to the museum,2 and 1 hour for the Australians and 3 and 2 hours for the Germans, respectively.
