The table gives some information about the underground railway systems in London,Paris,Tokyo,Washington DC, Kyoto and Los Angeles.
Overall,London was the oldest city that opened this system and also it had the longest route,whereas Kyoto had the shortest one.Another noticeable thing is that the biggest number of passengers per year can be seen in Tokyo.
Although London had the longest railway (about 394 kilometres of route ), it had only 775 millions of passengers.While Tokyo and Paris which opened 1927 and 1900 respectively and had less than 200km of routes carried a large number of passengers per year.It was nearly the same for the both of them about 1927 and 1191 respectively.
Moving for other cities,both Kyoto and Los Angeles that had the newest railway but also the shortest systems that were less than 30km.Also,they carried the smallest number of passengers at 45 and 50 respectively.Compared to Washington DC that had a relatively long,and also a high number of yearly passengers about 144 millions.
