The presented table gives information about the amount of money spent on 5 sectors to domestic policy by government in 3 different countries namely Germany, Italy and the UK in 2009.
Overall, the budget allocated to public services was the highest in 5 sectors, while the opposite was true for environmental protection. In addition, the proportion of expenditure on the 5 fields above in Germany was the lowest in 3 states.
As can be seen from the table, the percentages of funds in each nation for economic affairs, environment protection and health was quite similar. The amount of money spent on economic affairs accounted for 4,0% of Germany’s expenditure. This figures in Italy and the UK were 4,5% and 4,4% respectively. Comparable to economic affairs, health spending in Germany was 7,1%, which was the lowest number in 3 states. That data in the remaining 2 countries were extremely the same, 7,9% in Italy and 7,8% in the UK. Meanwhile, the budget used for environmental protection in Germany, Italy and the UK were only 0,7%, 0,9% and 1,0% in turn.
According to the table, the spending on public services in Italy was 8,6%. This figure almost doubled the percentages of money in the UK, which was 4,6%. Moreover, that data in Germany was 6,6%. Education consumption in Germany made up 4,3% of the fund in this country. Compared to Italy, this figure was less than 0,3%. Finally, this value in the UK was 6,4%
