Overall, the number of internet users of every age experienced moderate increase from 2003 to 2006. In general, younger generation tend to practice internet usage more often compared to elder generation.
The older population got the less the percentage of users who had an experience in using the internet, having minimum in 15 percent in 2003 for a group of adults aged over 65. The percentage of users for the group aged 16 to 24 increased moderately from 80% in 2003 to 90% in 2006. The trend continued for the group of usually aged 25 to 44, having a positive difference in 15 percent in 4 years. The total number of the group of adults from 45 to 54 years old using the internet amounted to 50 percent in 2003 with sharp jump to 60 percent in 2004. The age population of 55 to 65 experienced slight increase from 30 to 45 percent. The oldest group of people went from 15% to 25% for the whole period.
