Given chart illustrates details about changes in population of different age groups occurred during period of 2011 to 2012 in New Zealand.
Overall, during both years age group of 15 to 39 had highest population and lowest was in group of aged more than 65. However, highest people increased in 40 to 64 year group.
In the terms of 2011,total population was around 43.81 lakhs in which people aged 15 to 39 was accounted for highest number of 15,77,256. Also, age group of 40 to 64 was not far behind it at around 13,31,907. Also, children under 15 was counted for 8,98,160. While elders were lowest at 5,73,946 at that time.
There were some changes occurred in the duration of one year, highest increment of 4% can be seen in elders aged more than 65 and it reached to level of 5,96,903. However, there was minor gain in population of persons aged 40 to 64. While, residence aged less than 39 was declined 0.2% in which new numbers of adults aged 15 to 39 counted for 15,77,256 and 8,96,364 for under 15. Additionally, overall there was 0.6% population was increased in the country.
