Overall, the amount of money spent on Food/ Drinks and Tobacco was the highest, with Turkey people spending the most, while the percentage of money spent on Leisure/ Education was the lowest in this table.
Looking first at Food/ Drinks and Tobacco, Turkey invested the most at 32%, compared to around 19% of Spain and 16% of Sweden. The amount of money Ireland spent on this category was 28.9%, doubling that of Italy. Turning next to Leisure/ Education, people in Turkey spent 4.35% of the total, while the figures for Ireland and Spain were lower, at 2,2% and 1,9% respectively. The rate of expenditure in this category in Italy and Sweden was similar, at 3,2%.
The quantity of money spent on Clothing/ Footwear in Italy was the highest, at 9%, followed by 6.6% in Turkey and 6,5% in Spain. Ireland people spent 6,4% on clothes and shoes, which was 1% higher than the figure for Sweden
