Overall, it is noticeable that the percentages of daily and weekly showed an upward trend, while those of 3 times/month and never showed an opposite trend during the given period.
In detail, in 2006, the percentages of daily and weekly began at 36% and 15%, respectively. Daily recorded the biggest figure in the first year and it increased slightly to 45% in 2008. Surprisingly, it peaked at 72% after 2 years. Meanwhile, the figure for weekly fluctuated between 22% and 29% for 4 years.
On the other hand, in the first year, the percentages of 3 times/month and never stood at 15% and 34%, each. There was a considerable decrease in the figure for 3 times/month to 8% in 2009. In the final year, it hit the bottom of 5%. Lastly, 16% was seen in the figure for never in 2008. Interestingly, 1% of one European country used the internet in 2010.
