The table illustrates the amount of milk that was produced across Australia across two financial years, 2001/2002 and 2010/2011.
Overall, the quantity of milk obtained from Australian cattle showed a small increase in the second financial year as compared to the first. The greatest increment was observed in the spring months, from September to December.
In 2001/2002 the highest dairy production occurred across September to January, a trend that was also observed nine years later. November remained the month with the greatest produce across both the years, with 920 and 1350 million litres being milked, respectively. February was associated with lowest output, at 550 million litres, in the first year, but down the line, June and July were the lowest, at 590 million litres each.
Compared to 2001/2002, dairy output increased in 2010/2011 throughout the calendar, except for June when it declined slightly. The island nation maintained a steady milk produce in July across both the years.
