The table illustrates changes in number of people cycling to work in twelve areas of UK in a period of 10 years.
It is clear that the proportion of the people in all areas using cycling increased during the time. In some areas it become very popular while others become less popular.
In detail, the percentage of growth in Iner London,Brighton and Hove was more than 100%(144% and 109%) respectively. Whereas some area like Bristol, Manchester, New castle, Sheffield they saw an increase between 80% to 94% rise.
In the same period some cities like cardiff , Gsteshead, Exeter, Leeds, Liverpool and outer London just changed between 45% to 65% .
