The table illustrates the daily oil production in four countries- Nigeria, Chad, Cenga, and Somaila-across the years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004.
Overall, while the production of oil in Somaila and Chad increased significantly over the period, all other regions experienced a consistent decline in production.
In 2000, Cenga country accounted for the largest value, at 275.000. The figure fell sharply to 234.000 in 2001, and further decline to 222.000 in 2002, and finally reaches to 215.000 in 2003 and 203.000 by 2004. Nigeria country showed a similar downward trend, dropping from 205.000 in 2001 to 201.000 in 2001, and then to 190.000 by 2002. After that it increased sharply to 210.000 in 2003 and 213.000 by 2004.
Likewise, the production of oil in Somaila rose slightly, from 0 in 2000, 2001, and 2002 to 8.000 in 2003 and surged to 50.000 by 2004. In contrast, Chad experienced a dramatic increase in production of oil.
