Overall, the majority of countries have increased their amount of oil produced. Nevertheless, Congo suffered a notably reduction in their total proudction.
Nigeria is the country with the highest olive oil production at the end of the period (213.000), followed by Congo (203.000). Next, Chad an Somalia produced the same amount of olive oil each other, 50.000. This amount is nearly a quarter of the olive oil that the other two countries have produced.
In terms of evolution during the years, Nigeria and Congo remained fairly plateau. Meanwhile, Chad and Somalia production variated signficantly. The first country produced 0 olive oil until 2003 and in 2004 it quadruplated the quantity. Somalia, by its part, ascended its production from 5.000 in 2000 to 50.000 in 2004.
